Known for her saturated color and intimate settings, Julie enjoys painting in both watercolor and oil. Her latest works explore“Spiritual Realism” using common objects in extra-ordinary situations to illustrate human truths and experiences common to us all. The inspiration for these pieces comes directly from Julie’s own spiritual  journey and her desire to make visible the work of God in her life. She hopes that each of her fine art pieces speaks of hope, affirmation, and promise, and creates a sense of well being as they hang in your home.

Residence: Colorado Springs, CO.

Professional Associations: Besides her association with the PPAP, Julie is a signature member of the Pikes Peak Watercolor Society, the Kansas Watercolor Society, the Colorado Watercolor Society and the Rocky Mountain Watermedia Society. She has won many awards for her paintings during her professional career and in 2004, was selected by Colorado Lifestyle Magazine as one of our region’s “Artists to Watch.” She instructs at the Bemis School of Fine Arts.
